Created by Italian Kuwaiti artist Lidia Al Qattan, a painter, sculptor and jeweler married to the Kuwaiti artist Khalifa al-Qattan. This residential house is covered with mirror mosaics and required 70 tons of mirrors to finish.
From the outside, the house of mirrors really stands out among the surrounding buildings.
A white brick building with an incredible variety of mirrors, representing stars, butterflies, palm trees, planets, and even calligraphy. But even the brightly decorated exterior pales in comparison to the impressive interior of the building, in which almost all spaces are decorated with mirrors.
The lady has worn beautiful broken glass and has lit the entire house with mirror mosaics and yes she did it alone! Initially, this project was excited by decorating an old piece of furniture, and later it became "Room of the Universe" (bedroom) and "Basin of the Sharks" (hallway).
Each room, which includes a mirrored bathroom and a cosmos-themed room, is unique and she entertains visitors with her fascinating stories.
The floors, walls, furniture, and even the bathroom sink are decorated with mirrors in all possible shapes and colors.
