NATIONAL MUSEUM OF QATAR

Qatar is a young nation in the Persian Gulf, it is a peninsula, a language is surrounded by water where the desert reaches the sea.

The National Museum of Qatar is currently a museum under construction, which is located in the Qatarian capital Doha.

Castle National Museum of Qatar's historic center is being built. Located along with Kornic Doha, Qatar, the total gross area of the project is 40,000 m2 and 8,000 m2 will provide permanent gallery space and 2,000 m2 temporary.

This project is an artificial lagoon space and parking for 400 vehicles, an auditorium of 220 seats, a research center, laboratories, a dedicated food forum, two restaurants, a 115 115 m2 park with a cafeteria and a museum shop offers.

The interlocking disk design inspired by Gene Naval is inspired by the desert rose. This place will be a thriving center for the public, students, and museum professionals. It will redefine the role of a cultural institute, promote the spirit of partnership, and provide the conditions for the search.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Jasim Al-Thani's original palace - is built modified as a museum in the house of his family and around the government seat for 25 years.

Initially, architectural studies, together with programmatic studies, brought the underlying contradiction of the project to light: to show what is hidden, to reveal an endangered image, to neglecting transient words, words To clarify, to reveal history, in which there is no time to leave a mental impression; A history which is present in the flight, there is an energy in action.

The Qatar National Museum is a test of how fast this energy is. Of course, it will be home to traditional geological and archaeological artifacts; Of course, tents, saddles, and dishes will witness a horrible life; Of course, the utensils, boats, and traps of the fishermen will be there. The most important thing is that you will create an awareness that after the months spent in the desert, otherwise, you can face, in the pursuit of attributes, that exceeds our understanding except for the time and desires of nature. Or taking a helicopter or 4 wd to find the contrasts and parts of the coast of the Qatar Peninsula. Everything in this museum works so that the visitor feels the desert and the sea. The architecture and structure of the museum symbolize the secrets of discretion and the crystallization of the desert, suggesting the intertwined patterns of the bloody desert petals.

Innovative presentation techniques will provoke the audience and push the limits. The walls will become cinematic screens, the individual cocoon will maintain the oral history and hand-held mobile devices will guide people through thematic screens.

Collections in the museum include:
A visit to the future museum will take visitors through a circle of galleries that address three main and reciprocal themes. The galleries will be organized in sequential order, the natural history of the desert and the Persian Gulf, the artifacts of the Bedouin culture, the historical exhibition about the tribal wars and the establishment of the state of Qatar, and finally the discovery of oil.

The discovery and installation of these disciplines will integrate exciting and audiovisual exhibits with the carefully selected treasures of the museum collection. Currently, these collections comprise approximately 8,000 items and include archaeological artifacts, architectural elements, patrimonial objects for home and travel, textiles and clothing, ornaments, decorative arts, books, and historical documents.
