Principles of Design

Design principles are generally the rules of rules, instructions, human geographies, and designs, all of which are related to the knowledge and experience shown by all businesses and researchers. They work as an initial point to build new designs to solve problems. Design principles are typically practical science, social, physical, and ergonomics, including topics related to all designs.

THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN ARE,

BALANCE :

One-way interest or visual weight distribution. If all the interesting elements of the work are focused on one place, then the work is balanced by closed and a position of a viewer will be stuck, the remaining piece will be ignored. The elements of the art will be done with balanced pieces so that the eyes of the audience around the whole piece in different areas should be drawn.

There are different types of balance :
  1. Symmetrical balance - In which each side has another mirror image.
  2. Asymmetrical balance - In which the elements have a sense of balance achieved through meticulous planning.
  3. Radial balance - In which design elements emerge from the central axis.

CONTRAST :

The conversation of contradictory elements. Express the duality seen in the opponents.
Eg.- Black & White, Rough & Smooth, Large & Small, Etc...

HARMONY & UNITY :

Order or agreement between the parts of the whole; Aesthetically pleasing relationship between parts perfectly.
Unity is a sense of harmony between all parts of art, which makes
the feeling of integrity.

REPETITION, RHYTHM & PATTERN :

Repetition of a design element with a certain sequence of repetition. It provides continuity, flow, steering forces, etc.
The rhythm can be random, regular, optional, fluid, and progressive.

VARIETY & VARIATION :

To create the desired visual effect, use a series of different properties or examples of an art element.
Use different colors, shapes, shapes, etc. to create interest and avoid concentration.

PROPORTION & SCALE :

The ratio of the full size of the parties to the work, and the other with each other. Often associated with metaphysical art.
The real and clear shape of the object seen in relation to the proportion of other objects, people, their environment, or image plane.

EMPHASIS, DOMINANCE & FOCAL POINT :

A visually strong emphasis is placed on which we want to pay attention to the viewer. Focal points are areas of interest of viewers. The strongest focal point with the highest view weight is the key element of the work.
